Steve Towey

Originating at home in Seattle, Shishkaberry's is the original chocolate-dipped fruit on a stick. The affordable and highly portable designer dessert has been pleasing the masses along the west coast since 1999.

Steve Towey - Chief Chocolate Enrober and Owner - started his career playing baseball. He served as assistant clubhouse manager for the Seattle Mariners and pitched for several minor league teams in the U.S.

In 1991 Steve's baseball career took him halfway around the world to Taiwan. There, he discovered a candied strawberry treat - a local favorite - which would eventually serve as the catalyst for what would eventually become a booming business back in the States.

Life eventually took Steve back home to Seattle where he then started developing his own American version of the candied strawberry. By infusing a little humor, creativity, dedication, and a simple shishkabob stick, the contemporary chocolate-dipped fruit on a stick was born and quickly became one of Seattle's favorite treats.

Shishkaberry's utilizes only the freshest, never frozen fruits and offers a choice of milk, dark, or white chocolate. Each piece of fruit is individually dipped in chocolate and coated with unique toppings to create a truly one-of-a-kind and delicious experience.
